The Grey Witches has an exciting announcement and content for you starting today!
For those who may not know, The Grey Witches has been quiet for about a year. I wanted to hop back on and introduce myself and reintroduce myself to members who have been with us since the beginning of 2019. I want to tell you where we are headed and where I've been for the past year, and then we'll jump into The Grey Witches' content and what we have planned for you!
My name is Kate Carrasco, founder, and owner of The Grey Witches. I've been practicing witch for a decade now. While searching for a grey magic community, I could not find a perfect fit for that community. Searching through Facebook groups and Instagram, I couldn't find a community for grey magic. It took me a couple of years of ignoring the calling of running my group, and then I finally created The Grey Witches group in March 2019. I wanted to start a community for mystics, witches, empaths, and everything in between who believe in light and dark magic, life and death, the grey existed, and it was okay to exist in that space. I know in my being, that people can channel and perform grey magic for the good of our community. Grey magic can help our communities, our families, and our friends as a whole.
From a young age, I have had an intense connection with the universe. My abilities allow me to pick up information and feelings from people, as well as vibrations and messages from spirits and souls. Using my gifts, I help provide information people seek, whether it is answers regarding the present, past, or future. It’s been my experience that many have the knowledge they seek deep within them and simply need the right spiritual guidance to find the answers they already know to be true in their soul.
It is sometimes easier to focus on what divides humanity than what unites us. But I believe that every one of us is driven by a desire to develop a relationship with a higher power, with Source. The Grey Witches is a space for us to explore that core human necessity together. My blog is open to all, including those who do not subscribe to my belief system. Stepping out of our comfort zone can often be an incredibly impactful experience. I am confident that everybody can find something meaningful here to incorporate into their practice.
The Grey Witches Community
It's official! Our blog and website are now live! We have the entire month planned out for you, full of grey magic content. Our community and blog are open to everyone, including those who don't practice grey magic. First, let's talk about who our community isn't for. I recently received a message from someone asking how "touchy our community was about cultural appropriation." I responded and was excited that someone had reached out and was aware that cultural appropriation exists and was mindful of it. And the response I received shocked me. I thought what a perfect time to share who this community is not for. The person's response was, "too bad. This community isn't for me." And you know what? That person is exactly right. The Grey Witches is not a community for those who have no respect for closed beliefs and those who practice them. The Grey Witches is not a community for bigots or those who do not want to become more self-aware in their path.
The Grey Witches community is for those who want to continue to learn and hone their craft, witches who are compassionate and want to help their friends, families, and communities. Our community is for lightworkers who walk in the shadows, for witches who have felt isolated and unable to find a community that accepts them. We are a community without judgment that wants to help other witches grow and become more confident in their craft. We have a fresh, balanced approach to witchcraft. Grey magic for the modern witch.
The Grey Witches' Show, Newsletter, and Blog
The Grey Witches now has a weekly show every Tuesday at 1 PM CST to talk more about grey magic and help you learn and become more confident in your craft. We'll cover divination, full moon rituals, everyday magic, when to hex and curse, and more! You can tune in on all platforms, including our Facebook Page, Instagram, and YouTube.
We have also launched our weekly newsletter that will include a weekly reading for you and includes updates regarding The Grey Witches, what we have planned, courses, and more. Super excited about our newsletter, as our community has already given us wonderful feedback about topics they want to hear from us, and that's how our website and blog were born!
The Grey Witches coven
Drumroll, please! We are finally founding The Grey Witches coven! This will be for a one-on-one experience, a virtual face-to-face experience with a coven, for witches, empaths, and mystics alike. We'll run monthly full moon rituals and a monthly learning witchy happy hour, virtual class. We've already had over two dozen witches reach out to say they're interested, which is amazing.
